Highland Cattles
Gaelic: Bo´Ghaidhealach
Scots : Heilan Coo
It`s a very impressive image if you can see such a cattle or a herd (fold) of them
in the wilderness of the highland´s .
Whit their long horns and the shaggy coats of thick flowing hair the higland cattles are easy to recognise .The weavy coats are mostly coloured in red , yellow , black or white
The cattle can adapt to many different terrains (for example poor, harsh mountain land) and wheather conditions like strong rain and the cold westerly winds.
Inside of the fold there is clear structure and hierarchy of dominance which reduced aggressions . If you meet them don`t be afraid , they are peaceful animals.
